Explosion Relief Valve ZRI - explosion Relief valve for air Intake

ZRI - explosion Relief valve for air Intake

Structure

  • When internal pressure of the air intake section of the main engine & generator reaches the opening pressure.
The disc is opened and the excess pressure is released without flame transmission.
  • All standard range components were made of carbon steel.
  • Opening pressure can be changed within a certain range by adjusting the spring tension.

Function

  • When internal pressure of air intake section of the engine reaches to 5± 5 % bar,
  • ZRI relief valve protects operators, engines and equipment in engine room directly installed on the air intake section.
  • In the event of engine explosion in air intake section, ZRI opens immediately to release explosion pressure and closes tightly to prevent secondary explosion by blocking oxygen from engine room.

ZRI - explosion Relief valve for air Intake

  • Opening pressure : 4.75 ~ 5.25 bar / Operating temperature : 40~60°C
  • Model name : ZRI-98, ZRI-122, ZRI-173, ZRI-224, ZRI-266
  • Optimal design realized after structural analysis by computational fluid dynamics.
  • Exclusive and integrated frame arrestor ensures to release pressure without flame transmission.
  • Withstand explosions several times without engines shut down.
  • Virtually maintenance free.
  • No engine operation load reduction.
  • Easy to install and easy to change of flame arrester.
  • Excellent durability and ventilation.

Competition
Separation Flame arrester which were optimally combined with lamellar and wire mesh
These enable excellent flame disconnections & improved cooling effect
Structure Lamellar structures enable excellent block, stability and safety
Excellent durability to explosive pressure in high pressure environment
Resistance The protrusion of the lamellar is inserted at the groove of the Seat to stop any movement even during explosion
Standard Lamella and wire mesh combination design applied for all ranges of ZRI relief valves products
Strength Strengthening the dual discs structure enabled opening pressure to maintain even after a secondary explosion
